When I was a little girl, I used to dream about being in my 20's. I dreamed I would be as hot and fit as Janet Jackson, have a cool convertible, all the latest and newest clothes, and have a hot and sexy boyfriend who was crazy about me. Fast forward to present day, I'm 24 years old, constantly working out and eating healthy to slightly reduce my voluptuous size 12 frame, I own an '09 Honda Civic Coupe (which I love even though it's not a convertible), have cute clothes (and a shopping addiction!) and am an eligible, single bachelorette! I would say that my 20's have been wonderful, but haven't been without it's challenges. The younger and more naive me, would think I'm pretty cool but a work in progress! I agree with this but life experience has taught me that you don't get everything that you want when you want it and you tend to learn which attributes are going to take you further in life. I think that you learn and grow the most in your twenties because you're forced to grow up and become an adult. As a kid, you think being an adult is the coolest thing. You're the king or queen of your domain. No one can tell you what to do. Forward to adulthood when bill collectors are telling you to pay your bills, your job is telling you your schedule 40 or more hours per week and your kids are telling you to feed, clothe, shelter and spoil them! Ahhh!!!!!!!!!! Being a grown up is more difficult than we imagined (at least I don't have kids yet! YES!!). Yeah, it's difficult, but I wouldn't trade my experiences now for anything. I'm becoming stronger and more self sufficient than I ever imagined! Fast forward 5 years from now and I would like to see myself at a healthy size 8 (think Jennifer Hudson now), financially successful and in my career, in a hard top convertible (still holding on to the dream), and hopefully with a sexy, intelligent, good-hearted fiancée who is crazy about me! We'll see in 5 years if I'm naive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
